Tour Schedule - Dates by arrangement
Day One - A Warm Welcome to Andalucía
Arrive at Málaga Airport before 13:00. Meet your guide, Geoff, and then enjoy a relaxed, traditional local lunch en route to Ronda. After check-in at the Parador Hotel overlooking the El Tajo de Ronda, we head out to photograph Red-billed Choughs in flight against this dramatic and iconic Andalucian backdrop.
Day Two – Sierra de las Nieves (The biodiversity hotspot of Europe)
Morning photography session at Serranía de Ronda hides, targeting black wheatear, blue rock thrush and various larks woodland birds. In the afternoon, explore the breathtaking Pinsapo forest and photograph ravens and griffon vultures against, home to the endemic Iberian Ibex.
Overnight in Ronda.
Day Three – El Torcal de Antequera
Days 4 & 5 – Raptors & Wetlands of La Mancha
Two full days at the famous El Taray Hides, rotating between morning and evening hides. Expect outstanding opportunities for raptors, wetland birds, and the majestic Spanish Imperial Eagle.
